We, as educators, strive to promote the expression of the Orthodox Christian way of life. We believe every child is unique and learning is an individualized and ongoing process. We recognize our opportunity and mutual obligation to develop within each child the skills, virtues and habits of heart and mind needed to meet the challenges of an ever-changing society. Through mutual respect our students will grow and learn in a positive atmosphere, where faculty, staff, parents and students together are enthusiastic about learning. OUR MISSION
We prioritize student safety and responsible technology use by implementing GoGuardian Admin, Beacon, and Teacher tools across all middle school Chromebooks. These platforms provide robust web filtering, real-time monitoring, and proactive alerts, allowing us to create a secure digital learning environment while supporting student well-being both in and out of the classroom.
DGK is proud to partner with the Healthy Path Foundation as the very first school to join their mission. Through this collaboration, Healthy Path has provided two new vending machines stocked with cleaner, healthier snack and drink options, as well as stainless steel water bottles for every student. We are also home to the first-ever Healthy Path School Clubs, where students come together to learn, lead, and develop lifelong healthy habits. Together, we are building a strong foundation for healthier, happier students—both now and in the future.
