The Uniform Dress Code

Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten — Boys and Girls

Navy blue slacks with black belt
Light blue oxford shirt, long sleeved, with blue plaid tie, for formal / church days including blazer with school logo
Navy blue cardigan sweater
Light blue polo shirt with DGK logo worn daily September through June with exception to formal /church days
Blue or black loafer or lace up shoes — flat heels (dress shoes), blue or black socks

Navy blue jumper with DGK school logo (Kindergarten through Grade 4)
Navy blue kilt skirt (Grade 5 through 8) knee length
Grade 5 – 8 Light blue oxford shirt for formal/church days including blazer with school logo and blue plaid tie
Navy blue cardigan sweater
Grade 5 - 8 Light blue polo shirt with school logo worn daily September through June with exception to formal and / church days.
Grade K – 4 Light blue polo shirt with Peter Pan collar worn daily September through June Navy blue knee socks or tights only
Blue or black loafer or Mary Jane shoes — no heels or backless shoes permitted for any event

Only the uniform sweater and sweatshirt may be worn. No other sweatshirts or sweaters are
permitted
All shirttails for formal dress shirt must be tucked in. This includes boys and girls in all grades
Shoes should always be kept cleaned and polished. No dressy heeled shoes or sandals are to be worn
When boots are worn on rainy or snowy days, students are required to change into their school shoes
Girls: No make-up
Tasteful style earrings for pierced ears are permitted
Boys: Short haircuts, above the ears and above the collar line

Navy blue mesh shorts with DGK logo
Navy blue sweatpants and sweatshirt with DGK logo (leggings not permitted) White sweat socks
Non-scuff sneakers
